George has represented the villages of Northern Cherwell on Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council for almost 20 years on OCC and 35 years on CDC. He is a passionate believer in local Government being readily accessible and delivering services quickly and efficiently.

Deddington: Hugo Brown

Hugo has lived in Cherwell with his family since 2004 after spending 20 years in the London Reinsurance market.

Deddington: Mike Kerford-Byrnes

Mike has been a District Councillor since 2011 first representing the Astons and Heyfords Ward and then, since 2016, the villages which make up the Deddington Ward. He considers it a great privilege to represent the interests of these communities.

Deddington: Bryn Williams

Bryn's role within public life began in 2010 when he became a Deddington Parish Councillor before being elected to Cherwell District Council in 2014. He is involved in a number of community initiatives both in and around his parish of Deddington.

Fringford and Heyfords: Ian Corkin

Ian is passionate about the needs of the rural community, from protecting each village's unique heritage to the farming economy, broadband, tackling rural isolation and improving local roads.

Fringford and Heyfords: James Macnamara

James has been a District Councillor representing local residents for the 14 of the 23 years he has lived in Lower Heyford. He has also been a Parish Councillor in the village for over 17 years.

Fringford and Heyfords: Barry Wood

Barry represents the villages of the Fringford & Heyfords Ward on Cherwell District Council. He considers it to be a great honour to represent the interests of the people and communities of the Ward in which he lives and has a very strong track record of standing up for them.

Launton and Otmoor: Tim Hallchurch

Tim became a Cherwell District Councillor in 2003. A former army officer, he was educated at Sandhurst before taking up active duty seeing service in countries including Ireland, Germany, Kenya and Jordan. He was awarded an MBE for humanitarian services after Black September in Jordan in 1970.
