Tony has been a Banbury Town Councillor for the past 10 years. Since 2017, he has been the Oxfordshire County Councillor for the Hardwick Division. He has also represented Hardwick residents on Cherwell District Council.
He has a strong track record of delivering for local residents. Amongst other things, he has worked to tackle unauthorised traveller encampments on Hanwell Fields, secured the reinstatement of a regular bus service on the car estate, organised the re-planting and maintenance of trees along the old Oxfordshire Ironstone Railway, supported the renovation of the bungalows on Banesberie Close and got a £40,000 solar system fitted to Hanwell Fields Community Centre. He has also been an ever-present campaigner supporting local efforts to protect services at the Horton Hospital. As a District Councillor, he led Castle Quay Waterfront - the Council's multi-million-pound regeneration of Banbury canalside.
Tony’s connection to Banbury started two decades ago when he moved to the area to open a business in the town centre.
