Rupert Harrison lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and two children. He has worked in business, government and the voluntary sector, and is currently a member of Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's Economic Advisory Council.
Rupert was the founding Chair of The Fore, a charity that works with corporate partners to support and grow grass-roots charities around the country. He's a big believer in the power of community charities and social enterprises to improve life chances and tackle some of our most difficult social problems.
Rupert is a mentor for the Pathway to Success mentorship scheme run by Operation Black Vote and Magdalen College Oxford, aimed at encouraging more black and ethnic minority people into politics, government and public service.
He is also member of the Advisory Board at Onward, a centre-right think tank dedicated to developing bold and practical ideas to boost economic opportunity, build national resilience, and strengthen communities across all parts of the UK.
Rupert loves sport and is the lead coach for his son's under-11 village football team. Last year they made it to the semi-final of their cup competition so the pressure is on for this season.
