Stratton Audley will benefit from a new natural wild area and the play area at Deddington’s Windmill Community Centre will undergo major refurbishment thanks to grant funding from the Government’s Pocket Parks Plus fund worth £15,500 and £25,450 respectively.
The fund requires parks to help visitors engage with their natural environment.
In Deddington, the grant will enable the refurbishment of existing play areas at the Windmill Community Centre, including a sheltered area for parents and guardians. Stratton Audley will see the creation of a new park opposite the Church on land owned by the Parish Council, which will include a wild meadow, orchard and kissing gate.
