A tribute to Queen Elizabeth II 1926 - 2022

Queen Elizabeth II

Like the rest of the nation, we are shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

She was, quite simply, the very best of us.

She was an exemplar of service – her tireless dedication to our country and the Commonwealth will never be matched. For 70 years she has been a beacon of stability and strength for us all. For most she has been a constant presence in our lives as the longest-reigning Monarch in British history. She saw immense change and challenge in those 7 decades but not once did she falter. Her loss will be felt right across our United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, and the world. We will mourn and remember together.

Thank you, Ma’am, for your service. May you rest in peace and rise in glory.

Our thoughts and prayers are with King Charles III, the Queen Consort, and the whole Royal Family.

God Save the King.
