Baroness Prentis of Banbury recently received a diagnosis of aggressive cancer, for which treatment has commenced. Victoria addressed the House of Lords during the debate on the Assisted Dying Bill. Characteristically, she bravely stated, “Despite this challenging situation, I am optimistic about my prognosis. I have a strong faith, a loving family, an interesting workplace with good colleagues, a supportive community, and sufficient financial resources. Additionally, I have underlying good health and access to excellent treatment.
Victoria will always be at the centre of the North Oxfordshire Conservative family. Our thoughts and best wishes go with her for a sustained recovery.
