Easington Recreation Ground new play area gets official opening

Easington Recreation Ground’s makeover was unveiled at its official opening today.

The £350,000 investment, which is being delivered by Conservative-controlled Banbury Town Council, will transform the Rec and will include, when fully complete; the new play park, multi-use games area, improved football pitches and refurbished changing rooms. Parking facilities for the Ground will be provided by Harriers View School.

Of the refurbishment, Easington North Town Councillor Tina Wren says: “The new play area looks fantastic. Banbury Town Council is proud to deliver such a modern and transformative project. The rec is used for leisure, sport and exercise and I am confident that the new facilities will be well-used by local residents.”
