Cllr Kieron Mallon, Conservative, Calthorpe & Easington, urged the Liberal Democrat administration at Cherwell District Council to extend the budget consultation. Residents informed him they were unaware it was happening and found the council’s website difficult to navigate. The Council replied on the original consultation end date Friday 19th December, granting a short extension to the 23rd December.
Kieron called for an extension because the run-up to Christmas is never an ideal time for a consultation.
