Banbury Councillors work together to give town bus lifeline

In a letter published today's Banbury Guardian, Banbury County Councillors from both political parties have come together to pledge their commitment to work towards ensuring bus services continue across our area where possible.

“Dear Sir

May we as elected County Councillors for the Banbury area assure the residents of Banbury that have been affected by the loss of bus services over the last year, and those who may potentially be affected at any time in the future, that we pledge to work together to investigate ways of trying to reinstate bus services across the town, working together, cross-party, with existing and other transport providers.

We cannot promise a service but will do all in our collective power to try.

Yours faithfully

Cllr Tony Ilott

Cllr Hannah Banfield

Cllr Kieron Mallon

Cllr Eddie Reeves

Cllr Mark Cherry

Cllr George Reynolds

Cllr Arash Fatemian”
