North Oxfordshire’s Pothole Nightmare.
We are urging the Liberal Democrats running local councils to prioritise the repair of potholes in North Oxfordshire. The backlog of repairs could take 103 years to fix, unless the Liberals get on and do what the vast majority of local residents want.
Even though we’ve seen a 20% increase in council tax since the Liberals took over the running of County Hall in 2021, road repairs have not been a focus. As a result, residents are hitting deep potholes and crumbling tarmac on a daily basis, often resulting in expensive repairs.
North Oxfordshire Conservatives are calling on residents to sign a petition urging the county council to formally declare a pothole emergency in Oxfordshire.
