For a better Chesterton and Launton

 Vote Sandy Dallimore

A strong local Candidate for the

Chesterton and Launton Division

On Thursday 3rd September, you have an important choice about who represents our community. After another Liberal Democrat decided to resign, you now have the choice of who will represent you. I am not just a candidate; I care deeply about this area.

Speaking to residents, it's clear the Liberal Democrats at County Hall have failed our communities. Decision after decision, the LibDems have chosen what is right for Oxford, forgetting about our communities and us. For too long, our villages have been left without what is right for our area, and time, money, and effort have been dedicated to the larger towns and Oxford.

This needs to change. Chesterton, Launton, Fringford, and all of the other villages in our patch need someone who will fight for us. That's why I am standing to be your County Councillor in this crucial by-election.

I am committed to:

Doing everything possible to stop the Bicester MOD Asylum Centre.

Standing up against inappropriate development.

Fighting for a better share of road funding for our area.

Keeping Council Tax and Parish costs as low as possible.

Being accessible, responsive, and ready to help whenever you need.

Supporting improvements in our villages.

In County Hall, the Liberal Democrats have failed to improve services, often making them more difficult to use, with the new booking system for recycling centres, and still have continued to put up your council tax. In the winter months, they lost control of road maintenance, with the backlog increasing by 34%. Whilst the Lib Dems play catch-up, often our villages are forgotten. It's time for change.

I am standing because I believe our villages deserve better. We deserve a councillor who is visible in our communities, who listens to residents, and who is prepared to stand up for our area at County Hall. Whether it’s chasing up pothole repairs, fighting for investment, or speaking up against decisions that harm our communities, I will always put our villages first.

This by-election is an opportunity to send a clear message that our communities cannot continue to be overlooked. Together we can secure better roads, stronger local services, sensible planning decisions and a council that remembers the villages it serves, not just the larger towns.

If you can offer to help support Sandy in this crucial by-election to become your local champion at County Hall, we would love to hear from you! Whether you can deliver leaflets in your village or put up a garden sign for Sandy, please do get in contact.
