2023 elections

On Thursday 4 May residents across North Oxfordshire will have the opportunity to vote for who will represent them and their community on Cherwell District Council.

Residents in Bicester will also have the opportunity to elect Councillors to Bicester Town Council.

These are critical elections for our area – the swing of just one seat will result in a chaotic, high-spending left-wing coalition of Labour, Liberal Democrat, and Green Councillors more concerned with vanity projects than delivering the frontline services residents need taking control of the District Council.

We are working hard to stop that from happening. Want to join us? Find out more about getting involved with our local team by clicking “campaign with us” to the left.

If you want to find out more about your local candidate, you will find their profile under the relevant geographical area.

One significant change for these elections is the introduction of Voter ID. From May 2023 individuals who wish to vote in person will be required to produce an accepted form of photographic ID to vote. Residents without photo ID can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which can be obtained free of charge. For more information on Voter ID, please click the link to the left or below if on mobile.
